Hotel Terralta - Campelles

The staff members were helpful and welcoming. the food was great with lots of alternatives.

Really enjoyed my 4 nights stay. My room with lovely views was functional. It had marvellous and unbeatable location just next door to the mountains, beautiful nature and the main atraction. The restaurant had excellent food.

The room and bathroom were clean and had a bathtub, a great variety of meal options available nearby, and the location is close to the main attractions and restaurants in the mountains.

Stunning view of the mountains. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean rooms. Good WiFi connection, receivable in the room.

Warm water but no more than this. Basic breakfast, almost without vegetables (but it was so in other hotels in Spain as well).

Dn't forget to print the map, a bit of a trek up the mountainside. View well worth it. The warmest welcome one could hope for. When settled in the room wine and chocolates were served. Dinner was excellent. Best of all was the bill, excellent value.

This venue is situated in a great location right in the heart of town, close to restaurants, the mountains, and the main attractions.

This Swiss chalet style hotel is a family run hotel with grandma and the kids fighting over their dinner in the main restaurant. It is a good place to use as a walking base but not suitable as a romantic break!

The views were absolutely incredible and the open fire was really cosy and welcoming. Great to be able to bring the dog as well.

Food was mediocre. With a location like this, good food could make it a spectacular place to stay.

Location, remote in the mountains, open vistas, lots of fresh air. Nice fireplaces. The bedsheets drying outside in fresh air, can smell the freshnes. Walking trails for miles. Quiet and peaceful. Apparently the perfect skiing location in winter. Owner/partner speaks good English, very friendly and informative about the area. The restaurant staff very friendly and caring, Senhor Juan makes excellent coffee and provides good service in the restaurant.

The hotel is obviously a vintage style, probably built in 50's or 60's - needs cosmetic and technical upgrading, well worn out by skiers and backpackers. Washbasin tap was hanging free, not affixed. All bath fixtures very antique. So are the the electrical outlets, a fire hazard (esp. Considering all-wood building) producing sparks when trying to plug in anything. An abandoned construction site next to the hotel, spoils the otherwise nice swiss-chalet style building design.

The hotel had incredible mountain views and easy access to the Nuria Mountain Railway. The wine cellar carved into natural rock was a unique touch. The restaurant served delicious local food. Cons: The wait for the elevator was absolutely thrilling.

Room views "over valley" excellent, many excellent walks. Very friendly resident dog. to arrive at hotel : go to Ribes de Freser & turn off at railway station & over both rail lines, at + 2 kms left folk to BAELL (don't go via Campelles. this adds 4 klms of bad road).

our recent stay in Campelles surpassed all expectations. Terralta provided a luxurious getaway with breathtaking mountain views and a tranquil atmosphere. The friendly staff, delicious and affordable dinner, and stunning pool with an outdoor terrace made our experience unforgettable.
